DONE-FOR-YOU SOCIAL MEDIA FOR FICTION AUTHORS WHO HAVE BOOKS TO WRITE
I help indie authors go from random BookTok trends and posting whenever you have time to a consistent, strategic social media presence that keeps selling your books—even when you're deep in your next draft.
HOW WOULD IT FEEL TO KNOW...
IT'S HANDLED—AND YOU HAVE THE SUPPORT YOU'VE BEEN DREAMING OF?
You don't need to be on every platform. You don't need to chase every BookTok trend. And you definitely don't need to spend hours every week staring at your phone wondering what the hell you're supposed to post.
You want to know your books are being promoted.
You want to stay visible to readers—even when you're in the middle of a writing sprint, deep in edits, or juggling everything that comes with publishing a book.
You want social media that actually sounds like you, reflects the worlds and stories you've worked so hard to create, and gives potential readers a reason to stop scrolling and get curious.
And you want someone reliable in your corner who can help make that happen without you having to become a full-time content creator or project manager.
What if you could just... know it's handled?
That's where I come in.
SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT THAT LETS YOU GET BACK TO WRITING
No scrambling.
No staring at a random Canva template.
No guilt because you haven't posted in three weeks.
Just knowing it's handled.
YOU WANT TO STAY VISIBLE—WITHOUT ALWAYS HAVING TO BE ONLINE
When you're writing, editing, planning a launch, or just dealing with life, social media doesn't have to disappear.
I'll help you build a sustainable rhythm of content that keeps your books showing up in front of readers—even when you're deep in your next draft.
And because your social media shouldn't exist in a vacuum, we'll plan around your launches, promotions, newsletters, and other marketing so everything works together.
YOU WANT CONTENT THAT FEELS LIKE YOU
Your author brand shouldn't sound like it was handed over to a generic marketing robot.
I spend time getting to know your voice, your books, and your readers, then turn all of that into content that feels natural to you—whether your brand is funny, romantic, dark, quirky, swoony or mysterious.
You still get the final say. I just take the blank-page-and-what-the-hell-do-I-post problem off your plate.
The goal is for your readers to recognize you in the content.
YOU WANT PEOPLE TO GET EXCITED ABOUT YOUR BOOKS
You've already done the hard part: you wrote the book.
Now let's give readers a reason to notice it.
I'll dig into your books to find the characters, settings, themes, tropes, quotes, scenes, and little details that make great social content.
We'll use those alongside your launches, promotions, and other marketing to spark curiosity, build anticipation, and help the right readers discover your stories.
YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S ACTUALLY WORKING
I'm not going to lie, there's a good amount of trial & error involved in figuring out what works for your book and your audience but we're not going to just throw content at the wall forever and hope something sticks.
I'll keep an eye on your analytics so we can see what your audience responds to, what isn't landing, and where there's an opportunity to experiment.
The longer we work together, the smarter your content gets.
CURIOUS?
LET'S CHAT
30 MINUTES. NO OBLIGATION.
You don't have to have everything figured out before we talk. This is a chance to get clear on where your marketing is now, where you want it to go, and whether I can help you get there.
During our call, we'll:
- Talk about what's working, what isn't, and what's getting in the way of your author marketing
- Explore what support could look like—and whether working together makes sense for you
- See if we vibe! (Because this is a partnership, and it has to feel good for us both.)
You can expect to leave the call feeling clearer—and hopefully a little more excited—about what's possible with your marketing.
If it feels like we're a good fit, I'll follow up with a proposal tailored to you, your books, and what you actually need.
Packages start at $500/month.
(And fellow Canucks: yes you get to pay in CAD$!)
SO, WHAT DOES “DONE-FOR-YOU” ACTUALLY MEAN?
THINK CONCIERGE-LEVEL SERVICE, NOT A CONTENT FACTORY.
You hand me the social media part of your marketing, and I take it from there. I get to know your books, your voice, your goals, and what's happening in your author business. Then I build the content and support around you—not a cookie-cutter package that treats every author the same.
WE START WITH THE BIGGER PICTURE
What's coming up? A release? A preorder? A sale? A bookbub or bookfunnel promotion? An event? We'll map out what's happening in your author business and use it to create an editorial calendar for your social content.
I DIG INTO YOUR BOOKS
Your books are the starting point. I'll pull out characters, tropes, quotes, scenes, settings, themes, reviews, and all those little details that can make readers stop scrolling and want to know more.
I CREATE & SCHEDULE YOUR CONTENT
Depending on your package and goals, I'll create social posts, shortform video, carousels, graphics, newsletters, trial reels, etc. then send everything to you for review and approval. Once you've signed off, I'll handle the scheduling so you don't have to remember what needs to go out when.
YOU'RE STILL IN THE LOOP—WITHOUT BEING IN THE WEEDS
We'll have a simple system for sharing what I need from you, reviewing content, and communicating about what's coming up. You get the final say. You just don't have to spend your week thinking about social media.
WE KEEP LEARNING
Each month, I'll review your analytics to see what's getting a response, what's not, and where there's an opportunity to try something new. Because we're not chasing a magic formula. We're learning what works for your books and your readers and getting smarter as we go.
>> Packages start at $500/month.
Every author and every project is different, so we'll figure out what level of support makes sense for you.

BONJOUR, I'M JACKIE!
I know what it's like to wear all the hats in your business. I've been a solopreneur since 2013, when we moved from Canada to France for my husband's post doc and I started my own marketing consulting business.
We've since moved back to Canada—we now call Fredericton, New Brunswick 🇨🇦 home—and in early 2025, I began specializing in author marketing.
For more than a decade, I've done a little bit of everything in online marketing: social media strategy and content creation, Facebook ads strategy and implementation, sales pages, lead generation, launch email campaigns, newsletters, podcast marketing and plenty in between. I know my way around Canva, Edits, Squarespace, Stripe, Descript, Airtable, Kit and Payhip, to name just a few.
Honestly, I have yet to meet an online tool I couldn't figure out. (I'm a Millennial Eldest Daughter. Enough said.)
I got my master's in journalism in 2009, in the early days of social media and user-generated content. I was part of the CBCNews.ca Canada Votes online news team that won a Silver Canadian Online Publishing Award for Best Use of Social Media. Before that, during my time as a producer for CBC News Network, I could often be found teaching colleagues how to use Twitter. (Back when it was new and not yet the bad place!)
But beyond my professional qualifications, I’m a reader at heart.
I was the kid checking 15 books a week out of the library during vacation—and yes, I loved the summer reading program. My bookshelves, bedside table and TBR are always full, and thank goodness for my e-reader so I can read whatever my heart desires without having to answer awkward questions from my kids.
So when I create social media for fiction authors, I'm not just looking at content from a marketer's perspective. I'm also thinking like a reader: what would make me stop scrolling, get curious about this story, and want to know more?
Because ultimately, that's what we're trying to do: get the right readers excited enough about your books to pick them up.
